Brent was part of the initial group that helped form IMR. He shepherded both version 1 and 2 of the website into existence and leads trips intermittently. Brent is goal-oriented (to a fault) and is currently working on summiting the highest peak in each of Idaho's Wilderness Areas and the 11th Highest Volcano on each Continent. The former is an IMR series of scrambles he should finish in 2011. The later he hopes to finish before he dies.

Brent is currently looking for a new goal to incorporate with future IMR trips. Ideas include: Point farthest from a road in each wilderness area, Idaho 12ks or extreme tobagganing.
